A 19-year-old man died after he was shot multiple times late Thursday night in Salt Lake, authorities said.
Police officers responded to a report of gunfire at about 11:30 p.m. near Salt Lake Boulevard and Kamehameha Highway, according to a Honolulu Police Department bulletin.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services officials said paramedics responded to a Kohomua Street address and treated the teen for gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries, according to HPD.​
Witnesses told police that three suspects, wearing all black, left in a black vehicle.
Police said a related reckless endangering incident was reported on Kohomua Street around the same time of the shooting.
HPD released no further information about the fatal shooting and said the second-degree murder investigation remains ongoing.​
