Family heartbreak as young man killed in car chase stabbing
A MAN who was stabbed to death after a car chase has been named and pictured for the first time.
Tributes have poured in as detectives continue to question a 19-year-old on suspicion of murder.

Vernard Murray, 26, was attacked following a crash amid a suspected chase off Cardinal Street, Cheetham Hill, in Manchester on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency services were alerted at around 2.25pm after reports of a disturbance.
He was taken to hospital with serious knife wounds but sadly later died.
A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and was being quizzed by detectives today.

Greater Manchester Police has been contacted for an update on the investigation.
While formal identification is still pending, friends and family have shared touching tributes to Mr Murray online.
Commenting on the Manchester Evening News’ Facebook page, Gerrard Leonie wrote: “R.I.P Vernard you’ll be missed can’t believe you’ve been took away fly high.”
Angela Clawson added: “RIP to a lovely young man everyone guna miss u bro good night god bless.”

In a public Facebook post, Mr Murray’s sister Tammy thanked people for their support “at this insanely painful time for [her] family”. “Forever 26 our angel,” she said.
“Thank you all so so much for your condolences and messages we have seen and read them all. I wish we had the words to message each and every 1 of yous back but were so grateful for them all at this insanely painful time.”
In another post, alongside a family photo, she added: “Forever 26 my boy until the wheels come off my best friend… best brother I could have ever wished and hope for life was so full with you in it.”
Scores of friends have shared messages of love and support for the family, who are said to be too upset to speak publicly following the tragedy.
Footage from the scene appears to show the occupant of an overturned car getting out before being chased on foot by two people believed to have been in a vehicle behind.
Neighbours reported hearing a loud bang at around 2pm before police flooded the area.
Forensic teams were seen working at the scene on Friday as a cordon remained in place.
