POLICE are continuing two make inquiries following a break-in to a house in Heathfield and the theft of two cars.
A man in his 20s from Exeter has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug and two dwelling burglaries.
He remains in police custody.
Officers are appealing for information.
A spokesman said: ‘It was reported that access was gained to a property and keys for three vehicles taken.
‘Three vehicles – a blue Honda Civic, a grey Porsche Macan and a white BMW 4 Series – were then stolen but have all since been recovered in Torquay and Teignmouth respectively.
‘Enquiries remain ongoing.
‘Anybody with any relevant footage or information is asked to contact us on 101 or via our website quoting 50250228824.’
The alarm was raised after a resident reported a break-in overnight and the theft of three cars.
The homeowner described the incident as ‘very scary’.
