A man has been arrested after two teenagers were rushed to hospital with ‘serious injuries’ following a car crash.
At around 3.10 am on Saturday, October 11, a silver Vauxhall Corsa was travelling on the A329m Berkshire Way towards Reading.
The vehicle then smashed into the Jennet’s Park roundabout.
Two passengers in the car, a woman in her late teens and a man in his late teens, suffered serious injuries and have been taken to the hospital, where they remain.
The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 20s, has been arrested on suspicion of drink and drug driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He remains in custody at this time.
Investigating Officer PC James Chalk, said: “We are appealing for witnesses following this collision where two people have been seriously injured.
“We have made an arrest, and we are appealing for any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have dash-cam footage to please come forward.
