A man has been arrested after a car has flipped over on a busy route out of Southampton this morning.
Ambulance and police cars were seen on the scene at Totton Bypass just after 9am, as a red car had overturned on its roof in the right hand lane of the A35 towards the New Forest.
The incident involved just one car, Hampshire police confirmed to the Echo, and both people inside the red car were able to exit with no injuries reported.
A spokesperson for police confirmed one man had been arrested.

The spokesperson said: “A 28-year-old man from Southampton was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.
“He remains in police custody at this time.”
Congestion temporarily built around 9.35am as an unmarked police car drove towards the scene and drivers were stopped stationary on the road.
Traffic has now returned to normal conditions.
