Kent Police said the man's next of kin had been informed
A man, aged in his 50s, has died after a van and a car crashed in Kent.
The collision involved a silver Renault panel van travelling on the A2990 Thanet Way towards Whitstable and a blue Skoda Octavia being driven in the opposite direction at 20:35 BST on Thursday.
The driver of the Skoda was confirmed dead at the scene in Chestfield. His family has been informed, said Kent Police.
The van driver was treated in hospital for "injuries not considered to be life-threatening", the force added.
Police appealed for anyone who saw the vehicles or the crash to get in touch.
