Emergency services were called to the collision on the B6397 near Kelso involving a black Vauxhall Astra at around 7.40pm on Saturday.
A man has died in a single-car crash in the Borders with a road closed overnight.
Emergency services were called to the collision on the B6397 near Kelso involving a black Vauxhall Astra at around 7.40pm on Saturday.
The male driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was closed and reopened at around 4.40am on Sunday.
Sergeant Jamie Humpage said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the person who has died at this difficult time.
“Inquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us.
“We’d also ask anyone driving in the area with dashcam footage to come forward.”
