NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – New Orleans police are investigating a homicide after a man was found shot and killed inside a vehicle on Belfort Avenue, near Gentilly Boulevard and adjacent to the Fair Grounds.
Officers responded to reports of the shooting around 1:40 p.m. Tuesday. The victim was found in the driver’s seat when authorities arrived.
New Orleans EMS confirmed the man was dead at the scene.
Detectives are investigating the case.
