Muglin (Chitwan), Oct 1: The Manakamana Cable Car Company closed its services in view of the Dashain festival for three days, beginning today.
According to company manager Ujjwal Sherchan, the services will be resumed on October 4, Saturday.
The facility, remaining as the first cable car service in Nepal, has been providing services since 1998 to devotees visiting the famous Manakamana Temple based in Sahid Lakhan Thapa rural municipality in Gorkha. —
