Maserati celebrates the return of GranTurismo and GranCabrio production to Modena with two new one-offs
Just days after Maserati and Alfa Romeo rolled out their Bottegafuoriserie program for a select few one-off creations, Maserati has returned with another reveal. At the Meccanica Lirica event in Modena, the Trident brand presented two unique builds based on the GranTurismo and GranCabrio.
Alongside their Fuoriserie customization, both cars gain a reworked exhaust system developed to produce a fuller, more resonant tone.
The pair also marks the return of GranTurismo and GranCabrio production to Maserati’s historic Modena headquarters, joining the MC20 supercar line. Earlier, these models were assembled at the Mirafiori plant in Turin, but operations have shifted back home to make way for the new Fiat 500 Hybrid

Both models are based on the Trofeo trim, with the twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 generating 542 hp (405 kW / 550 PS). While they lack the V8 rumble of their predecessors, Maserati engineers worked to extract a deeper, more expressive note from the Nettuno, keeping it within homologation standards.
Changes include a new software calibration for a more refined valve management and different tones depending on the selected driving mode, plus special exhaust tips with a metallic finish.
What Else Sets Them Apart?
Aesthetically, both cars received a bespoke treatment from the Maserati Officine Fuoriserie division. The GranTurismo is finished in a rich red velvet shade called Rosso Velluto, while the GranCabrio is painted in the champagne-like Oro Lirico.
Each sits on 21-inch black Crio wheels with diamond-cut details in matte Clearcoat Pale Gold. The GranTurismo carries White Gold Matte badges, while the GranCabrio’s are finished in Rosso Velluto Matte, and both display gold-painted Trident emblems.

Inside, Maserati combines burgundy leather with Nude Alcantara, accented by dark Bordeaux stitching. We also find gold chrome accents and real wood inserts made of red-painted poplar, a “Creata a Modena” badge on the driver’s door panel and bespoke wool car covers.
Special Package Without The Sound
Maserati also introduced the Meccanica Lirica Pack, which offers select design cues from the one-offs across the regular GranTurismo and GranCabrio models, though without the upgraded exhaust.
The package includes the Crio wheels, White Gold Matte badges, bespoke exhaust tips, and the Rosso Velluto or Oro Lirico paint options. Inside, it brings burgundy leather and Nude Alcantara upholstery, the “Creata a Modena” script, and a black finish for the steering wheel, seatbelts, headliner, and floor mats.

As with traditional Italian pizza makers that stick to their own recipes, Maserati doesn’t offer the above features individually. However, the company is open to applying the Meccanica Lirica Pack to the fully electric Folgore trims, minus the exhaust pipes and the alloy wheels.
The Folgore versions remain the most potent GranTurismo and GranCabrio models, driven by three electric motors generating a combined 818 hp (610 kW / 829 PS).
