
Police confirmed two people had died following a horror three-vehicle crash in Ireland this morning. Emergency services rushed to Gormanstown in Co. Meath on Monday, November 24, following a serious collision involving a bus, car and truck. The incident happened on the R132 near The Huntsman Inn.
The male driver of the truck and the male driver of the bus were pronounced dead at the scene, officers said, while the female driver of the car was rushed to hospital to treat serious injuries. Similarly, the female passenger of the car, aged in her teens, is being treated for serious injuries, the Irish Mirror reports.

Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have seen this morning’s crash and anyone who may have dashcam footage travelling on the R132 between 5.45am and 6.45am.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Ashbourne Garda Station on (01) 801 0600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
Two more women in the car, the driver in her 40s and a passenger in her teens have been transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Gardai also confirmed that several other people have been taken to hospital but for more minor, non-life threatening, injuries.
The R132 is currently closed as a “technical examination” by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators takes place.
The Garda has confirmed two people have died at the scene with 12 more injured in the crash this morning.
The male driver of the lorry and the male driver of the bus have been confirmed as the fatal victims.
Some of the first photos from the scene show officers blocking off the road, turning traffic away.
Several officers remain at the scene, with no sign of when the road will reopen.

A spokesperson added: “Bus Éireann can confirm one of our route 101 services has been involved in a critical road traffic collision involving other vehicles in the Gormanstown Cross area of county Meath this morning, 24 November 2025.
“Emergency services and Bus Éireann personnel are currently at the scene.
“We will provide further information as it becomes available.”

The R132 runs parallel to the M1 connecting Dublin with Dundalk in the north.


A Garda spokesperson told The Irish Mirror: “Gardaí and emergency services are currently attending the scene of a road traffic collision at Gormanstown, Co. Meath, this morning, Monday 24th November 2025.
“The R132 is currently closed with local diversions in place.
“No further information is available at this time.”
