The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued multiple recalls last week, including notices for more than 90,000 Mitsubishi vehicles.

Here’s what you need to know about the vehicle recalls published by NHTSA from Aug. 18 to Aug. 24:
Mitsubishi recalled certain 2018 to 2022 Outlander PHEV and 2014 to 2020 Outlander vehicles sold or currently registered in 27 states and the District of Columbia.
The liftgate gas spring cylinders in the affected vehicles may corrode and lose pressure, resulting in a gas spring cylinder rupture or the liftgate falling unexpectedly.

Dealers are to replace the left and right liftgate gas springs, free of charge. Notification letters are to be sent on Oct. 6.
Affected vehicles: 91,697
Stellantis recalled certain 2024-2025 Jeep Wrangler vehicles as the tire pressure warning light may not illuminate.
The remote start antenna cable may be pinched in the affected vehicles, which can cause the warning light not to light. Dealers are to inspect and replace the remote start antenna cable as necessary, free of charge.
Notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 2.
Affected vehicles: 78,989
Mercedes-Benz recalled certain 2023-2026 EQE and GLC vehicles as they may have loose steering bolts.
The steering coupling bolt may have been improperly tightened, allowing the steering coupling to loosen from the steering rack.
The recall covers the following models:
Dealers are to tighten the steering coupling bolts as necessary for free. Owner notification letters are to be sent on Oct. 17.
Affected vehicles: 3,749
Stellantis recalled certain 2026 Ram vehicles as they may have an instrument panel that displays an incorrect brake system warning light.
The vehicles may have been built with the incorrect 3.5-inch Instrument Panel Cluster (“IPC”), which displays an ISO symbol brake system warning light instead of a “BRAKE” light – according to the recall report.
The recall covers Ram 3500, 3500 Cab Chassis, 2500, 4500 Cab Chassis, and 5500 Cab Chassis vehicles.
Dealers are replacing the instrument panel cluster for free. Notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 25.
