NEW LONDON, Conn. (WFSB) – A motorcycle driver has died after a crash in the parking lot of the New London Shopping Mall along N. Frontage Road in New London.
Police responded to the plaza on Sunday around 2:30 p.m. for the report of a motorcycle and car crash.
Crews said the male motorcycle driver was injured. The motorcycle driver, identified as Shane Elliott, 43 years old, of Salem, Connecticut, was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving at the hospital.
The New London Police Accident Reconstruction Team responded and and are conducting the investigation.
