LAYTON — A motorcyclist died in Layton on Thursday afternoon after being hit by a car, according to police.
The crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. near 1600 North and Main Street, according to Sgt. Max Holbrook with the Layton Police Department.
The driver stayed on the scene and is cooperating with police, Holbrook said.
No further information about what caused the crash was provided. The motorcyclist who was killed was also not immediately named.
