Guam Fire Department units responded to a reported crash with serious injuries along Marine Corps Drive, near Prestige Auto Guam in Dededo around 6:43 p.m. Four vehicles and one bus were involved in the incident, according to GFD.
There were seven patients in total. One male patient was transported to the Guam Regional Medical City, where CPR is being administered, according to GFD. A female patient was transported to the Guam Memorial Hospital, while another male individual was transported to Naval Hospital Guam, the department added. These two had minor injuries.
Other patients were assessed but refused transport.
“This remains an active scene, and further information will be provided as it becomes available,” GFD stated.
The Guam Police Department advised motorists to expect traffic delays and plan for alternate routes, as northbound and southbound lanes are closed. GPD stated it was a three-vehicle crash, however.
