NEW BRITAIN, CT (WFSB) – A New Britain police cruiser was involved in a crash on Saturday afternoon.
According to the mayor’s office, nobody was injured.
Officials said a ‘slingshot style vehicle’, similar to a sports bike, struck the officer at the intersection of Corbin Avenue and Osgood Avenue.
The officer was reportedly responding to an active emergency with their lights and sirens at the time of the crash.
No further information was released.
