A tragic accident occurred overnight in New City when a driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a tree.
 Emergency services rushed to the scene, but the driver was pronounced dead on site.
Multiple EMS units responded and assisted at the location. The crash left behind a horrific scene, and authorities confirmed that several young people tragically lost their lives in the accident.
Roberts Road remains closed as police continue their investigation into the circumstances that led to the crash. Officials are urging drivers to avoid the area until the roadway is reopened.
