BLACK HAWK COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) – One person died Tuesday in a crash between a semi and passenger vehicle.
Authorities received a report of a crash at the intersection of Canfield Road and Independence Avenue at 7:43 a.m.
Police say a car heading eastbound on Independence Avenue pulled out in front of a semi driving southbound on Canfield Road.
Both vehicles came to rest in the southeast ditch of the intersection, according to a crash report.
The car driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released. The semi driver was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
