INEOS introduces a new safari-ready take on its go-anywhere Grenadier.
The INEOS Grenadier is a go-anywhere off-roader that is inspired by the legacy of off-road legends like the classic Land Rover Defender, and the unbridled adventuring spirit associated with its groundbreaking capability. As such, the INEOS Grenadier has already proved in its short time on the market that it has a similar level of capability and off-road driving mettle, but with modern technology and engineering solutions, as well.
However, the Grenadier has also evolved to become more than just an SUV, with a Quartermaster pickup truck version, and other variants of the already celebrated model coming along. Previewed as a concept at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, the safari-spec Grenadier Game Viewer is set to start production in early 2026.
INEOS Kavango in Botswana is responsible for the model, with long and extra-long wheelbase Grenadiers coming to Botswana from the Hambach INEOS plant to be converted with layouts between four and nine seats. The chassis isn’t altered at all, which means the vehicle’s ladder frame, which significantly contributes to its off-road driving ability, retains its strength and durability.
Not only are owners able to specify the Grenadier Game Viewer to suit their specific needs, but it also comes with a manufacturer warranty in an industry first. The manufacturer, INEOS Kavango, started as Kavango Engineering, a firm that independently transformed a Grenadier into a safari-spec vehicle. INEOS acquired the business in 2023, and INEOS Kavango was born. With the known and celebrated capability of the INEOS Grenadier and a compromise-free, customizable safari spec, the new INEOS Grenadier Game Viewer is set to transform the off-roading world when production begins in 2026.
