WARREN, Ohio – Sales of new cars and trucks to customers living in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties slipped 3.8% in November compared with the same month last year, according to the most recent report from the Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers’ Association.
Dealerships reported they sold a total of 1,877 new vehicles in November to local buyers, compared with 1,952 during the same month in 2024.
Mahoning Valley dealerships reporting the five highest sales of new vehicles include #1 Cochran Chevrolet, Boardman, with 127; Boardman Subaru with 111; Greenwood Chevrolet, Austintown, with 95; Toyota of Boardman with 87; and Preston Hyundai, Boardman, with 84.
Sales of used vehicles to Valley buyers also fell year-to-year during the month, the dealership survey reported.  
Customers from the three-county region purchased 1,580 used vehicles in November, compared with 1,679 that were sold in November 2024, a decrease of 5.8%.
Dealerships reporting the five best used-vehicle sales were Greenwood Chevrolet with 80; Boardman Subaru with 77; Fairway Chevrolet GMC, East Liverpool, with 77; Ken Ganley Kia, Boardman, with 67; and #1 Cochran Buick GMC, Boardman, with 55. 
Total sales of new and used vehicles declined 4.3% year-over-year, the dealership report shows.
