A suspect from New York has been arrested after injuring a police officer who was attempting to stop a rental truck that was hauling stolen cooking oil on Tuesday, resulting in Interstate 95 being closed for several hours.
Juan Yahir Quiroz Manzueta, 21, of Yonkers, New York, was arrested at an apartment in New Rochelle, New York on Wednesday morning by the U.S. Marshal's Service.
He is facing second degree attempted murder, first-and-second-degree assault, and first-and-second-degree assault on a police officer and is awaiting extradition back to Maryland.
The Harford County Sheriff's Office provided the update on the arrest during a Wednesday morning press conference.

Around 11:25 a.m. on August 26, Harford County Lt. Robert Burgess was in an unmarked vehicle on Maryland Route 136 near Churchville when he saw a Penske rental truck driving erratically.
Burgess attempted to pull the vehicle over, and the driver immediately fled, officials said.
While fleeing, the truck was involved in a crash with a U.S. mail truck on Route 136 that left no one injured, and then struck another car on Route 22 before continuing onto I-95 southbound.
Police said the driver continued to drive northbound in the southbound lanes of traffic on I-95.
While Burgess attempted to deploy stop sticks, the driver of the truck swerved, and struck several other vehicles while attempting to flee.
The driver proceeded to travel from the left lane through traffic to the right side where he struck Burgess, who was outside of his vehicle on foot.
Authorities believe that Burgess was thrown about 65 feet from the collision.
Burgess was flown to Shock Trauma and was known to be alert and conscious, officials said.
The truck continued to travel southbound in the northbound lanes of I-95 where a Harford County Sheriff's Deputy used his vehicle to force the truck off of the road.
When officers approached the truck, they found that the driver had fled the vehicle on foot.
Authorities created a perimeter and found a "suspicious" person off of the southbound lanes of I-95 near the Route 24 interchange at Exit 77.
Police said that person was found to be unresponsive and was taken for medical treatment. That person ended up being released after it was discovered they were suffering from a medical emergency, and was found to be not related to the search.
Inside of the truck, authorities found a container of cooking oil that was linked back to a theft at an Applebee's restaurant in Aberdeen, which is assumed to be the motivation as to why the driver of the truck fled the initial traffic stop.
Harford County Sheriff Jeff Gahler said that cooking oil can be profitable for criminals to steal and sell for cash.
After a total of five crashes and as a result of the incident, all northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 95 were shut down at exit 85 in Aberdeen for several hours.
On Tuesday evening, authorities identified the suspect, Juan Yahir Quiroz Manzueta, who drove the truck, and issued a warrant for his arrest.
Gahler said that after the crash, the suspect made a call to a female associate, and she picked him up at a toll plaza and transported him to an apartment in New Rochelle, New York.
He was arrested on Wednesday morning, and is now facing extradition back to Maryland to face charges.
