Nigerian comedian and skitmaker, Raji Samad Adetola, popularly known as Sanku, has tragically lost his life in a car accident along Ogbomoso Road in Oyo State.

Just days before his passing, August 4 specifically, Sanku had released a skit depicting himself in heaven, where he expressed disappointment at the absence of many people he had expected to meet. 
In the video, he jokingly urged his partner to head to hell so they could enjoy life together.
The news of Sanku’s death has sent shockwaves through the Nollywood community, with many actors taking to social media to mourn his passing. 
Actress Funmi Awelewa expressed her heartbreak, saying, “The pain, the effort, the strength, the struggle… walai nothing make sense. I’m heartbroken. Even film sef never come out! It does not make sense.”
According to reports, Sanku and another victim were critically injured in the accident, but the comedian later succumbed to his injuries. 
Actor Jidex wrote, “This is heartbreaking. Someone who left home in good health is suddenly gone. It is painful, especially coming just a day after the passing of Phyna’s sister, Ruth Otabor.”
The loss of Sanku is a significant blow to the Nigerian entertainment industry, and his fans and colleagues are still grappling with the news of his untimely passing.
