Local news:
Nine people have been injured, including one critically, when a speedway car crashed into a crowd in regional NSW.
A car competing in a race crashed through a fence and hit a mobile grandstand at the Walcha showground during the Walcha Motorcycle Rally about 6.15pm on Saturday.

Bystanders rushed into help those injured before paramedics took seven men and two women – aged between 20 and 75 – to Walcha District Hospital.
A 54-year-old man suffered critical spinal and hip injuries while another three people were seriously injured.
They were taken to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle by helicopter.
Police say the 27-year-old speedway car driver was involved in an on-track collision right before the incident.
Investigations are ongoing.
