NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – NOLA ChristmasFest has returned to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, offering more than 300,000 square feet of indoor holiday activities for families looking to escape the heat.
The event features sensory experiences including the scent of Christmas trees pumped throughout the venue to enhance the holiday atmosphere.
The Big Freezy ice rink continues to be one of the biggest draws each year and remains the only ice rink in the Greater New Orleans area. This year, organizers added ‘Ice Bumper Cars’ as a new way to experience the rink.
“We love New Orleans Christmas so we try to come at least one time in the season,” said one mom whose family traveled from Lafayette for the fun.
Beyond the ice, new attractions include ‘Snow Throw,’ a target-style game, and a ‘Silent Night’ area designed as a quiet space for guests to take breaks or write holiday wishes for the new year.
Ticket prices have remained unchanged for the last few years. Weekday tickets cost $25, with weekend tickets priced at $30.
NOLAChristmasFest2025 is cashless event, including ticket purchases and onsite concessions. Purchase tickets online atnolachristmasfest.com/plan-your-visit.
