GREENWICH — A New York woman was killed in a three-car crash on Interstate 95 south that closed the highway for several hours on Monday, police said.

Haskel, who was driving a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek, struck the rear of another motorist after partly crossing into another lane, police said. The woman's car then "spun in a clockwise manner perpendicular to the roadway" and rolled onto another nearby vehicle, police said.
Police said the crash occurred near the Exit 3 entrance ramp around 4:45 p.m. Police said both cars that were struck stopped and Haskel's vehicle landed on its driver's side in the left lane of the highway.
Police said the crash remains under investigation by the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad, who subsequently responded to the active scene.
