ROCHESTER, N.Y. — New York State Police have shared new details on a deadly two-car crash on Thanksgiving Day on Route 104 Eastbound.
Troopers say the driver who died, a 35-year-old woman, was heading the wrong way and crashed into another car. The crash happened between Lake Avenue and St. Paul Street just before 8:20 a.m.
State Police say the woman wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, where she died. The driver of the other car was also taken to the hospital but had non-life-threatening injuries.
News10NBC’s photojournalist saw one of the cars on its side in the underpass below St. Paul Street on Thursday morning. The road has since reopened and State Police are still investigating. Police haven’t released the name of the victim yet.
