GLOUCESTER CITY, N.J. (WPVI) — Three people are facing charges after a string of car burglaries in Gloucester City, New Jersey, over the weekend. Two of them are juveniles.
Now, their parents are in trouble, too.
Police identified a 19-year-old suspect as Wesley Hunter Jr., of Cherry Hill.
They say he had active warrants and is being held pending a hearing.
The two other suspects are 16- and 17-year-olds, from Camden. They were both issued ankle monitors and released to their parents.
The parents were charged with failure to supervise their child.
Officers say they recovered several stolen items from the suspects, including credit and debit cards.
Police are asking people to check their cars for missing property.
