DOZENS of vehicles have been fined after they were left in a car park closed because of flooding.
All the cars parked in Pitchcroft car park today (Wednesday) were fined for remaining on the site despite its closure because of flooding.

Worcester City Council sent out two traffic enforcement officers this morning to fine all the vehicles at the car park which remains partially flooded.

The car park is expected to remain closed until the risk of flooding subsides.
A Worcester City Council spokesperson said: “It is a civil offence to park in a closed car park.
“The Pitchcroft car park entrance was closed and appropriate signage was installed.
“Anybody who feels that they have unfairly received a Penalty Charge Notice can appeal the notice on the City Council website.”
