WA's annual road toll neared a two-decade high last month, and the latest figures from the Road Safety Commission show 123 people have lost their lives since January 1.
Five people die in 24 hours in separate crashes on WA roads, as the state's road toll sits at its highest year-to-date level in a decade.

There have been several pedestrian deaths in recent months, including a 51-year-old man who died after being struck by a jeep in Mundaring on July 4.
Praveen Matcha, 45, was killed when he was struck by a Transperth bus in "abysmal" weather conditions outside the Perth Arena on June 20
