A New Haven fire official said a person was found dead inside a fiery car that crashed in the city overnight. 
NEW HAVEN — A person was found dead inside a car involved in a fiery crash near an Ella Grasso Boulevard intersection overnight, an official said.
New Haven Assistant Fire Chief Dan Coughlin confirmed that city firefighters responded to the crash by Adeline Street.

Coughlin said the involved vehicle went off the road and struck a tree. He said the road remains closed as of 7 a.m., but had no further information on it.
