Emergency services were called to Lowestoft this afternoon following reports of a two-car crash
A person was freed from an overturned car after a crash outside houses in a Suffolk town.
Police, paramedics, and firefighters were called to a two-car collision in London Road South, Lowestoft, at 14:17 BST.
The incident left the road covered in debris, and the junction with All Saints Road and Kirkley Cliff Road was blocked.
"Firefighters worked to stabilise the vehicles and safely extricated one casualty who was trapped," a spokesperson for the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service told the BBC.
"The casualty was released and given first aid by fire service personnel at the scene, while awaiting the arrival of the ambulance service."
One car was left on its side after the crash
The East of England Ambulance Service was contacted for comment.
