On Sunday, the Grand Ducal Police intervened on several occasions across Luxembourg with homes and cars targeted.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, police discovered that a car had been broken into on Rue de Trèves in Senningerberg. The driver’s door was left open and the interior had been rummaged through for valuables.
Later that afternoon, burglars broke into an apartment on Rue Kohlenberg in Luxembourg City’s Cessange district, stealing cash and two watches.
Around the same time, a second break-in occurred on Rue Jean Laux in Kayl, where perpetrators smashed a window to gain access to a home and stole jewellery.
Investigations have been launched into all three incidents. Police urge caution and have provided list of preventative measures to help residents guard against burglaries.
