A POLICE car has flipped onto its roof on a busy Southend road following eyewitness reports of a crash.
Photographs taken after the crash on Southend’s Victoria Avenue appear to show several other police cars around the flipped car.
The road, which leads to the centre of Southend, is blocked in both directions with traffic queuing.

An update from the AA states: “Road blocked and queueing traffic due to rolled-over police car on A127 Victoria Avenue both ways between Carnarvon Road and A13 Queensway (Sainsburys / Odeon).”
Essex Police has been contacted for comment.
