A road in a Nottinghamshire town was closed after a car crashed into a house.
Police confirmed officers were in attendance at a road traffic collision on Currie Road in Newark, as well as the fire service.
Crews were called to the scene at around 11am this morning (Saturday, November 15), with a road closure also put in place on nearby Northgate.
A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said that Currie Road was "expected to remain closed for the foreseeable future", but Nottinghamshire Live understands it has reopened as of 2pm this afternoon.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service told the BBC the driver had been taken to hospital as a precaution, with no serious injuries having been reported.
