A blue car crashed into the River Nairn on Friday morning
Police have traced the driver of a car that crashed off a road into the River Nairn in the Highlands.
Martin Hannah, 59, is believed to have been the driver of a car that entered the water near to Howford Bridge at 09:15.
A person who was travelling as a passenger in the car was taken to hospital after it came off Cawdor Road.
Their condition is not yet known.
Emergency services were called to the scene, including two fire engines and two water rescue units.
Earlier, police said the driver of the car had left the scene before officers arrived.
