New Bern Avenue was briefly closed Saturday night after a hit-and-run.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, officers responded to a crash off New Bern Avenue at Kelly Austin Drive around 8 p.m. When officers arrived, they found one woman with non-life threatening injuries after she was a hit by a car.

Police said that the suspect drove from the scene, and no arrests have been made yet. 
While authorities were investigating, the Raleigh Watch Commander initially told WRAL News that three cars were involved. The department did not provide any additional details about the conditions of these drivers. 
The woman was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
That portion of New Bern Avenue was closed for more than two hours. The crash remains under investigation as authorities try to locate the driver.
