A road has reopened near Alresford following a crash involving three cars.
A serious crash took place on Saturday, December 27 at around 12pm on the A31, Alresford Bypass, which saw a road closure between the junctions with Ropley and Sun Hill roundabouts, as well as heavy delays for motorists.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Roads Policing posted an update on their Facebook, on Sunday, December 28, stating that the road has been reopened.
It said: “The A31 near New Alresford has now been reopened following a serious road traffic incident yesterday. Officers were called at 12.44pm yesterday to a report of a three-vehicle collision between Bishop’s Sutton Road and Whitehill Lane.
“To enable us to deal with the incident, part of the A31 was closed. It is now fully open as normal – many thanks for your patience.”
