The roof of a car workshop appears to have collapsed after a large blaze in Plumstead.
Firefighters were called to Vicarage Park today (December 4) at 6.06am after 11 calls were initially made to reports of the blaze.
Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were sent to the scene.
Crews spent hours tackling the blaze as locals complained about thick smoke surrounding Plumstead.
It was eventually under control by 8.18am, but firefighters remain at the scene to fully extinguish it.
