The F-150 based Roush RT6 features a 6-inch lift and 35-inch tires
If the Nissan Frontier PRO-4X R didn’t float your boat, perhaps Roush Performance’s new RT6 will be right up your alley. It’s based on the Ford F-150 and features a number of off-road focused upgrades.
The biggest change is the Roush 6.0 Performance Suspension System, which provides a 6‑inch (152 mm) lift while also promising to preserve on‑road drivability. It features new front coilovers, twin‑tube dampers, and progressive rate springs as well as lift spindles and heavy‑duty front knuckles. They’re joined by special sway and traction bars as well as compression arms.

Rounding out the off-road goodies are a laser‑cut skid plate and 20-inch satin black wheels, which are wrapped in 35-inch General Tire Grabber A/TX all-terrain tires.
The upgrades don’t stop there as the F-150 has been outfitted with a Roush-branded grille featuring integrated marker lights. They’re joined by a ventilated hood with a matte black graphic.
Buyers will also find a lightly revised front bumper, extended fender flares, and a cat-back exhaust. The truck also sports special badging and graphics, although the interior has largely been overlooked as it only features new floor mats and Roush key fobs.
The Roush RT6 adds $23,995 to the truck’s original sticker price and customers can get an optional Premium Package. It adds an active exhaust, auxiliary lights, carbon fiber interior trim, and overhead auxiliary switches. Customers can also get leather seats and a console vault.
