BUFFALO’S #1 FOR NEW COUNTRY
It has become a huge problem these days. People have been having their cars stolen left and right, and it feels like no one is immune. Even one of Buffalo's biggest philanthropists has become a victim.
This morning, Russell Salvatore, owner of Russell's Steaks, Chops, & More on Transit Road went to Facebook to tell everyone that he had his car stolen last night.
Unfortunately, he didn't say where it was stolen from. So we don't know if it was taken from his driveway, or from the parking lot of his restaurant, but we do have a great description of the vehicle. It's a light blue 2017 Bentley convertible. Someone shared a picture of the car on his facebook page shortly after he made the announcement.
Salvatore is looking for help in getting his car back, and he's offering a good amount of money to get it back. He's offered a $10,000 reward for anyone who can give any information that will lead to the arrest of the people who took the car, if it is returned in working condition.
You're asked to contact the Lancaster Police Department with any information you might have, or if you see the car.
Car thefts have been happening to just about everyone in Western New York and this is just proof that if it can happen to someone with such a high profile as Russell Salvatore, it can happen to anyone.
Remember to always keep your vehicle locked and remember to take the keys out of your car every time.
