Savannah will be missing the opening ceremony of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy. Mary Carillo will instead be stepping in for Guthrie who had been scheduled to cover. Meanwhile, Craig Melvin is also staying in the US during the Olympics to offer his full support to Savannah and her family as the search for her mom continues.
On Thursday, police said they believed Nancy was “still out there” and hope to get her home as soon as possible.
