Pictures from the street show a white Toyota Corolla Active which has smashed into the property.
The motor came off the busy road, crossed the pavement and careered through the front garden before smashing into the front room.
The garden fence appears to have been struck down, with bricks and debris strewn across the grass.
Masonry and brickwork were also scattered over the hybrid electric car’s windscreen and bonnet.
