Authorities took a driver to a hospital Tuesday after her car collided Tuesday afternoon with a school bus carrying nine students.
The crash happened at the intersection of Pollock and Waddell streets in Selma.

Authorities said none of the students and bus driver were injured in the crash.
The roadway was closed and first responders diverted traffic for nearly an hour.
Tuesday’s incident marks central North Carolina’s fourth crash involving students in the past week. No students were injured in the other three crashes.
On Monday, there was a school bus crash at the North Carolina Highway 50 and Sanders Road intersection. It also includes a Monday school bus crash along Covered Bridge Road between Pritchard Road and Payton Drive.
On Friday, authorities helped 13 school children after a van crash near Holly Ridge Middle School in Holly Springs.
