A serious car crash sent a motorcycle driver to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and closed part of Main Street in Kingston, Massachusetts, on Thursday evening, police said.
The road, also known as Route 3A, was closed from the Plymouth town line up to the end of Crescent Street for hours on Thursday night because of the crash, Kingston police said.

The crash took place just before 6 p.m., when the motorcycle and a pickup truck collided on Main Street by Boundary Street. It left the motorcycle driver unresponsive, and he was rushed to the hospital, police said.
State and local police were investigating what happened, including the cause of the crash. Anyone who lives within the several affected blocks can ask an officer for help getting home.
