NEW BRITAIN, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department has arrested a Philadelphia man after officers allegedly discovered a stolen vehicle, a firearm, and marijuana during an investigation at a parking lot in New Britain Borough.
According to police, the incident occurred on October 14, 2025, when officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at the CoPart parking lot. Upon arrival, officers found 24-year-old Ubaidulla Muhammad sitting in the driver’s seat of a white vehicle later confirmed to have been stolen from the Philadelphia area. A second individual, identified as a passenger, was inside the building at the time.
Police reported that a visual inspection of the vehicle revealed a stolen handgun, marijuana, and several additional vehicle key fobs in the trunk. When the passenger returned, both individuals were taken into custody without incident.
Muhammad was arraigned and held at the Bucks County Prison on $200,000 bail, with a 10 percent bond requirement.
He has been charged with multiple offenses, including receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm prohibited, carrying a firearm without a license, possessing an instrument of crime, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana, and making repairs or selling an offensive weapon.
All charges are allegations, and every defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
