Westfield shopping centre in east London was evacuated following a fire at its multi-storey car park.
London Fire Brigade (LFB) said it was called to the shopping centre on Montfichet Road, Stratford, just after 16:00 BST.
About 12 vehicles were alight on the second floor of car park C, causing a "significant amount of smoke", the spokesperson said, adding the centre was evacuated as a precaution.
The fire was brought under control by 17:54 and its cause is under investigation. No injuries have been reported.
Ten fire engines were sent to the scene
About 70 firefighters from Stratford, Poplar, Leystonstone and surrounding fire stations, as well as ten fire engines were sent to the scene.
A 32-metre (105ft) turntable ladder was used to help extinguish the fire.
On X, one person wrote: "Parked up in Westfield car park had security run up to us and tell us to leave straight away through fire exits could hear bangs on the way down."
Another wrote they had heard explosions.
