A woman was found fatally shot inside a car in Sunnyvale on Wednesday night, according to the city's Department of Public Safety.
Officers responded at 9:39 p.m. to a report of a shooting in the 1200 block of Vienna Drive and arrived to find the victim inside the vehicle and suffering from gunshot wounds, public safety officials said. She was pronounced dead at the scene and her name was not immediately available.

Investigators have not made an arrest or released any suspect details in connection with the shooting. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Detective Eugene Rosette at (408) 730-7110.
