UPDATE:
The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed they are taking over the investigation on the case.
Officials have named the suspect as Shavaughn Antwine, who is now in custody after Saturday night’s standoff.
The injured officer who was hit by the suspect’s car is stable, and authorities say the officer was conscious and alert when transported to the hospital for treatment.
The investigation is still ongoing.

After witnessing a Spencer Police officer being knocked to the ground by a speeding car—Good Samaritans rushed to his side.
According to witnesses the Spencer Police officer was on the scene of a possible domestic when he was struck by the suspect’s vehicle near North Post Road and NE 41st.
Kathy Williams told News 9 she and her husband Chris were in the area—-and saw the officer fall to the ground. They stopped their car—and made sure the officer knew he wasn’t alone.
“We try to take care of ours, we live in Spencer too,” Williams said. “And we know he’s a good guy, we wanted to be there for him.”
Unsure if the officer was injured—the Williams waited for other officers and the paramedics to arrive.
The officer was rushed to the hospital. The suspect was found barricaded at an Oklahoma County home near NE 54th and Anderson Road. An armored vehicle with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office remaimed at the home for several hours.
We’re still waiting to learn how the officer is doing tonight.
As for the suspect–at last check negotiators were heard telling the suspect to surrender.

Sources say a woman hit the officer as he was getting out of his car at a location on Post Road. She then fled the scene but officer tracked her to a home three miles from the original scene.
A large police presence has gathered as the suspect has now barricaded herself, and officers are working to take the woman into custody.
The condition of the officer is unknown at this time.
