Snow and icy conditions caused significant traffic disruption across Sussex on Friday morning, with multiple crashes, road blockages and lengthy delays reported by AA Roadwatch.
On the A26 Eridge Road, northbound traffic was at a standstill due to snow and poor road conditions.

Very slow traffic was reported for five miles between B2100 High Street and Bunny Lane, towards Tunbridge Wells.
Sham Farm Road was blocked in both directions following a crash involving two cars.
The incident happened near Blackdon Hill and Danegate.
On the A267, traffic was slow in both directions due to an earlier crash and icy conditions.
The delays were reported at B2102 Lewes Road in Cross In Hand.

The B2096 Battle Road was partially blocked in both directions due to a crash.
The incident occurred at Brightling Road near The Swan Inn.
Southdown Road was partially blocked following a crash involving a car and a motorbike.
The collision happened at the A259 Sutton Road junction.
Highcroft Villas was partially blocked in both directions after a three-vehicle crash.
The incident was reported between Dyke Road and Stanford Road.
