Tata Curvv has always stood out with its stylish coupe-SUV design, but it has faced tough competition in the sales department. To change that, Tata Motors is introducing a range of updates for the 2026 model. These updates are designed to make the Curvv more versatile, stylish, and appealing to a wider audience. From new interior features to design tweaks, let’s take a look at what’s changed and how these updates are set to boost the Tata Curvv’s appeal and sales.

One of the most significant changes to the 2026 Tata Curvv is the introduction of rear window sun shades in more variants. Initially, this feature was exclusive to the Tata Curvv Dark Edition, launched in April 2025. Now, the Pure Plus S variant, which is one level above the base Smart trim, includes these sun shades as a standard feature. Even the top-spec Accomplished Plus A trim did not come with this feature at launch, making it a notable upgrade for the lower trims.
Another important update is the change to the front grille. The silver elements that were previously part of the grille have now been replaced with a sleek gloss black finish. This change gives the Tata Curvv a more modern, aggressive, and sophisticated look. These changes will also align with current design trends in the automotive industry. It’s a small but significant update that boosts the SUV’s visual appeal.
Inside, the Tata Curvv 2026 gets a fresh new interior theme. The cabin now features a light beige colour scheme, replacing the previous maroon accents. This new interior colour is paired with the usual black accents found on the dashboard, door panels, and seat upholstery. The shift to a lighter, neutral colour palette makes the cabin feel more airy, spacious, and modern.
As part of the new interior theme, higher variants of the Tata Curvv now come with beige leatherette seat covers and a beige leatherette steering wrap. These additions add a touch of premium luxury to the cabin, enhancing both the comfort and the visual appeal of the interior. The updated upholstery and soft-touch materials give the cabin a more upscale feel, making it a more enjoyable place to spend time on the road.
Under the hood, the 2026 Tata Curvv continues to offer the same engine options as its predecessor. It remains available with a 1.2L turbo petrol engine and a 1.5L turbo diesel engine, both of which provide a solid balance of performance and fuel efficiency. These engines are mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed DCT transmission, giving buyers the flexibility to choose their preferred driving experience. The engine lineup ensures that the Curvv remains a strong contender in the SUV segment, offering both power and efficiency.
In addition to the existing petrol and diesel options, Tata Motors is preparing to launch a CNG version of the Curvv. The CNG variant will feature a dual-cylinder layout, which will help maintain the 500L boot capacity of the SUV, ensuring that practicality is not compromised. An electric powertrain for the Curvv is also expected in the near future, giving eco-conscious buyers a sustainable option to choose from. With these additions, the Tata Curvv will have more powertrain choices to cater to a wider audience, including those looking for a green alternative.
